What’s with the “Walking” ???

Ah! All you guys have to do for the fundraiser is to buy your ticket, come along and have a good time … but some of us are doing a lot more.

Four of us (Christopher, Nikki, Deb and Brenda) will be subjecting ourselves to a 100km walk to draw attention to Oxfam … and subject ourselves to extreme physical and mental pressures.

You see, it’s the Oxfam Trailwalk … 100km non-stop over one weekend – over mountains and through the night. We expect it will take us 36 hours. It’s about the distance from Melbourne to Ballarat.

We look like this:

Oxfam Trailwalker Melbourne 2011 - plus oneOxfam Trailwalker Melbourne 2011 - GAL Girls

The Mountains look like this:

Just ignore the second one!

So …

give generously and sympathise mightily … because at least you’re not crazy to be walking 100k ! 🙂
